Six months ago, Jesse lost his best friend, Shane, in a car accident while he was driving Jesse to propose. Out of guilt, Jesse vowed to take care of Shane's wife, Nancy, and their girl, Joy. However, he took his promise so seriously that he even brought Nancy and Joy home.
